======= a little bit modified from [ml-actib2969] ====== Charity Ski Tour-!! I, Keisuke Goda, a member of JAM (Japanese Association at MIT), am organizing a charity ski tour on Saturday 1/19. I say "Charity" because I plan to open a ski school and teach skiing to all the participants for 20 dollars and then the collected money will go to one of the trustworthy NGOs (http://www1m.mesh.ne.jp/~peshawar/）which help Afghani people who are in danger of starvation. I will most likely teach at elementary and intermediate levels by popular demand. I was born in Sapporo and used to teach skiing in Hokkaido and Nagano. We are going to one of the most popular ski areas, White Mountain, Waterville Valley.（http://www.waterville.com/）Not only MIT students but also everyone in the Boston Area are welcome to join the tour. We will charter a bus which accomodates 55 people and has a bathroom and VCR. Note: It's OK not to join the ski school but just to ski by yourself. [Tour Schedule] 6:00AM: Gather at East Garage Annex on the MIT campus (http://whereis.mit.edu/bin/map?locate=east_annex_lot) which is near Kendall T Station. 9:00AM: Arrive at Waterville Valley 10:00AM-12:00PM: Elementary Skiing or free time 1:00PM-3:00PM: Intermediate Skiiing or free time 3:00PM-4:00PM: Free time 4:30PM: Gather and Depart 7:00PM: Arrive at MIT Note: The schedule is subject to change. [Costs] Bus: 20-30 dollars (depending on the number of participants) Lift Ticket (group discount applicable): 40 dollars (adult)?, 37 dollars (teen)?, 23 dollars (youth)?, 23 dollars (senior)?, 29 dollars (student, ID required)? Note2: JAM (Japanese Association at MIT) has a christmas party this Friday at Ashdown House starting at 6PM. At the party I will have a booth for accepting application. However, the bus capacity is 55 people, and therefore when the bus seats are all filled up, I will not accpet any more participants.
