I use
Panasonic CF-A44 (purchased in Dec,1998) now.
Its specification is MMX-Pentium266MHz,128MB,8.4GB(exchanged in 1999
Spring, originally 4.3GB).
I'd like to keep this PC as long as my previous PC.
I love my first PC (see below).
Now the battery is out and Y2K problem has occured on it,
I still use it to make a back-up copy of Wiz(PA-Z700) data.

The document below was written on 1997/1/4.
I use a subnote PC/AT computer named Super Slim Subnote (Domestic
model in Japan and its constructor went bankrupt). I bought it in
Feb/1994.
- 486SX 25MHz
- 4Mbytes + 4Mbytes
- Cirrus62x5 VRAM 512K
- 10.3inch(?) 64 gray-scale DSTN Panel
- Toshiba 532Mbytes HDD
- US-ASCII Keyboard
- Ni-Cd battery (it lasts only one hour...)
- ESS ES488 (Mono)
- PCMCIA typeIIx2 or typeIIIx1
I installed Windows95 and Linux(1.2.13) on this machine. Windows95
partition is 196MBytes including netscape, MS works, PowerPoint
etc. Linux partion is 295MBytes and it includes mule, X windows,
latex, ghostview, on-line-dictionary and so on. I use this computer
for writing documents, C programs (compile test and debug), memoes of
academic conferences.
Peripherals are:
