   A WWW server informs you information about KUIS ( department of Information Science, Kyoto University ) and IMEL ( Integrated Media Environment Experimental Laboratory ).

2. WWW Proxy Service

   IMEL operates Squid-1.0.22 for WWW proxy service.

5. NetNEWS service

   Huge amount of Netnews articles flows into Kyoto University everyday. The administrator is sometimes drowned in the sea of news articles.

6. Mail service

   A main mail server for @kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp.

7. DNS service

   Here is a master DNS server of kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp and imel.kyoto-u.ac.jp.

8. NIS service

   A NIS primary server for KUIS.
